Staff Opportunities

Student Volunteer Movement 2 (SVM2) has several levels of staff participation. Both at the Great Commission Equipping Center in Chiang Mai, Thailand and helping facilitate National Great Commission Alliances within these nations.

The Great Commission Equipping Center has two categories of staff:

Residential and Intercessory

  • Residential staff relocate to Chiang Mai for 2-5 years participating in a variety of roles and projects supporting the international SVM2 initiative while spending 7-10 hours a week in the Global Harvest Prayer Room.
  • Intercessory staff visit Chiang Mai for two weeks, one to three month periods and spend 10-15 hours a week in the Global Harvest Prayer Room while helping with various SVM2 ministry projects.

Staff serve in a host of projects including helping facilitate training programs, providing administrative support for national alliances, producing equipping materials for mobilization, overseeing communications internationally, periodic travel participating in equipping leaders to mobilize their ministries, facilitating the annual 21 Days for Global Harvest prayer campaign and much more.

All staff are volunteers who raise their own support enabling them to serve in Chiang Mai.

Come to beautiful Chiang Mai and use your vacation, school break or internship to serve an international mission mobilization initiative to the unreached while seeking God for spiritual awakening in the body of Christ and the fulfillment of the great commission.

• Serve as an administrator with the National SVM2 Facilitation Team
• Speak in churches and campus ministry fellowships casting the vision of SVM2 and calling these to become “Great Commission Ministries.”
