South Africa
The Lord has been speaking to many in the South African church about its role in the mission sending movement of southern Africa. There is a fresh stirring among leaders to see this pivotal nation, which God has blessed in multitudes of ways, come into the fullness of its destiny as a servant to the nations.
Currently, South Africa has roughly 7,500 cross-cultural laborers serving outside of its borders. There is a sense among leaders that God is calling for this to be increased five-fold in the next decade.
South Africa is ready for this, and has the human and financial resources to pursue this with focus. Most of these will come from the ranks of today’s emerging generation of believers in South Africa.
