What is the GO Declaration?
The GO Declaration is a card that hundreds of young adults from all over the world have signed as a symbol of a covenant with God to personally commit their lives to fulfilling their role in the global proclamation of the gospel.
It’s called the “GO Declaration” because all who have signed are stating their intent declaring to themselves, to God, and to their peers that they are planning to go and serve cross culturally for at least two years as a first step toward finding their role in the global proclamation of the gospel.
The heart behind the GO Declaration is that those who sign it do so out of the overflow of their abandoned devotion to Jesus Christ and his or her desire to live a life that is holy and pleasing to Him.
A commitment to the global proclamation of the gospel is a core part of the GO Declaration. The broader picture is to to live the whole of our lives conformed to and involved in God’s global purpose, with a special recognition that more than one third of the world, the forgotten, currently have no access in their culture to the gospel message.
