Global Prayer Teams
Interceding, With Focus, For Spiritual Awakening and Global Proclamation
Historically, small groups of students and young people, on campuses and in churches, committed to wholehearted prayer and intercession for spiritual awakening and the spread of the gospel among least reached nations and peoples, have been at the forefront of new breakthroughs in the mission movement.
Today, God is raising up students and young people on campuses and in churches from multitudes of organizational and denominational backgrounds in a similar fashion.
The corporate vision of SVM2 is to see 50,000 Global Prayer Teams, which are small groups (2-15 people) of students or young people faithfully meeting in prayer. These small groups have as their core purpose to pray for spiritual awakening among today’s emerging generation, and for laborers to be raised up and the gospel to take root among the hardest and darkest places of the world today.
Global Prayer Teams are a tool utilized on campuses in many nations by many ministries to involve students in devoted prayer for the harvest. Will you start a Global Prayer Team in your ministry?
See the Global Prayer Team Guide link below for a helpful resource that details how to start one, keep it vibrant, and provide links for prayer fuel. A thriving prayer movement for the nations is rising… Will you help change nations?
