Bible studies

The Bible itself is the greatest cross-cultural mission mobilizer. As students engage with the Word of God and are led through it with eyes to see the very mission heartbeat of God, their lives are transformed. They encounter a God who at His very essence is a “missionary” God.

There are a host of very good Bible studies available that teach on God’s heart for the nations. SVM2 encourages the use of Paul Borthwick’s study called “Missions: God’s Heart for the World.” It is ideal for small group studies, which are one of the key ways that we grow in our understanding of the Word –- studying in community.

Through implementing small group Bible studies on God’s heart for the nations into our ministries across the four sectors of the student world, the way is opened for the potential of widespread momentum to take place as students’ hearts are laid bare with God’s passion for the nations. This effective implementation of this component will affect both our ministries and the student generation greatly.
