My testimony:

Although I did not grow up in Christian home, God faithfully put people (teachers – back in the day when it was okay for teachers to speak of their faith, parents of friends, relatives) in my life to sow seeds. The summer between 8th and 9th grade, I came to personally know the Lord through Young Life.

My life verse:

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. – Isaiah 41:10

My favorite Christian author:

Not including God and all the writers of the Bible, I guess it would be Charles Swindoll… or Oswald Chambers… or Donald Miller…
